About Joe Brazil and Sacramento Specialty Automotive

This isn't just a shop; it's a legacy. Sacramento Specialty Automotive is the culmination of decades of hard work and a lifelong passion for anything with an engine, all driven by owner Joe Brazil.

Born and raised right here in Sacramento, Joe's love for speed started early. At just five years old, he was on a flat track motorcycle, a path that led him to a professional motocross career by the age of 25. But while speed was his passion, family was his foundation. He married his wife at 21, and for 41 years, they've built a life and a family together, with two boys and now five grandchildren.

Joe’s journey into professional auto repair began over 24 years ago, but his hands-on automotive background spans an incredible 48 years. The path to owning his own shop took a unique turn on the soccer field. While coaching his sons' team, he befriended Marcos, the owner of a local shop called Alfa's and Subarus. In 2001, Marcos gave Joe the opportunity to take over the business. This was the start of Sacramento Specialty Automotive.

Since then, Joe has built the brand from the ground up, expanding his vision and expertise to Folsom and, just this year, to West Sacramento.

While Joe is committed to providing top-tier service to the Sacramento community, his passion doesn't end when he leaves the shop. In his free time, he can be found working on his classic cars, fine-tuning his race car, or cheering on his grandchildren at their soccer games. He also loves to spend time on his property.
