Folsom Automotive has PHENOMENAL customer service and does AMAZING work! I have been wanting to write a review on them since my first visit but just hadn't found the time. I had a newer Tahoe that had a problem with the A/C that was 60 miles out of warranty, the staff went out of their way to help me see if it could be covered by Chevrolet so I wouldn’t be out of pocket for a pretty significant expense. I ended up having them do all the repairs and some additional items. They did great work and haven't had a problem since repaired. It wasn’t lost on me the way they were looking out for my best interest rather than trying to take advantage of the situation. I have continued to take each of our cars there even for just minor things like routine oil changes. Recently my husband took our small commuter car there for brake issues and again their amazing customer service blew me away. Not only did they have quick availability but when I called my husband to see if everything was ok he told me that they had the car, got him a ride home and then a ride back to pick up the car. I was IMPRESSED … they went out of their way to make sure he was taken care when they didn’t have to, not a service they had to provide! Not only did they take care of my husband but they did great work again. I could follow the progress of the inspection and repairs prompted by an email with pictures of the findings with recommendations for service. Their attention to detail, service, repairs and pricing is in my opinion incomparable to other places. Folsom Automotive is the ONLY place I will take my cars. We HIGHLY recommend them :)

Good people, but I disagree with a business practice: Diagnostics fee not applied to fixing the issue. If they diagnose a issue and say $400 to fix. They don't apply the fee towards the fix. If it's $100 to diagnose and $400 for fix, you're out $500, not $300. Also last time I was there I had to have my radiator change. (story above) They put a new one in, 3 months that radiator busted. They took care of the issue no cost to me! cool (and apparently put in a better one worth $75 more). What I don't understand they said the first one they put in was a crappy radiator and should of never been put in. In my head than I'm thinking, why the heck did you put it in? One conversation I think they said it slipped by them... whatever... People are nice but I'm looking else where.

I have been going here sence I was just a teen. I have always received excelent service and it has always been quality. I appreciate the honisty I get when I go here. I am a women and not many Auto center will be honist with a women. I have always felt safe in knowing they are going to treat me right and my problem will be fixed. They always are fare and do grate work. I will continue to come to have my auto problems fixed here.
